Using a common table expression makes this easier to manage and we avoid having to create a view of the partitioned data. Now our results show the latest pay and departmental assignments. 2. Select Cross table to list option and specify a single cell to deploy the result in the Results range. Note: You can specify the Results range across different worksheets and workbooks.

1. A cross (two dimension) table will be converted into a flat list with three columns.
